Military Memories

I decided to review the nearly 22 years of my military career from June 1951 to February 1973 for the benefit of my progeny. I was in the Air Force when I met the love of my live and we started a family. I’m quite sure that my sons and daughters were aware that I wend out the door to work in either a flight suite or the uniform of the day of an Air Force Officer. I"m also quite sure that they did not have a depth of understanding of what I actually did when I went to work. I’ve tried to chronicle the happenings before, during, and after their entry into our family group.

The Air Force was my occupation until my retirement on the last day of January 1973. I’m not ashamed of anything I did while serving my country but there were a few occasions when I might not have appeared to be a champion.
