Lets' make this a challenge to layout our plans for learning javascript in Google docs. Or is it the other way round.

As a first exercise, I'd be greatly aided if I could have an on-sheet button to copy down a row of formulae. It would be swell if one could interrogate each column and discern a formula from a value. Also useful would be discovering how many rows needed the forumula copied down. Let's make the the first challenge.
