Interesting question. But shame on you: You asked for this yesterday! in Simulate the [last Day of the Month [[][]] in Crontab "yag0581gan

You've got 4 answers from Surrano, Sepher, Marty and John (an easy one but with a "date -d" that is not a valid option on HP-UX, 3 others quite the same).

There is another thread running How to Increment Day Unix Script" for 3 weeks ! OK, this is not your question, but the subject should have interested you) with Paul's wonderful reply "How much easier to check if tomorrow is the FIRST day of the month?"

BUT you don't bother and ask again the same question with a different title AND in the same forum. You go to this forum to ask something but you don't read the answers people gave you before. Wow!

WHY? Is this a game, are you kidding ? Are you really interested ? Do you wish that we waste our time thinking and answering ?

And why do people still answer? Sometimes, we see 10, 20 replies in a couple of days from people asking a more precise question or some elements, and the initial questionner never giving any info. It is boring, very disappointing.

Please (actually, this is an order), read the answers to you previous post. And mark the good answers as helpful.
